Publix: Yay for Whole Foods coupons

I took a trip over to Publix to do some shopping for Passover.  I usually do this at a kosher specialty store because Publix has a limited selection and is more expensive than the kosher store.  Making it more expensive, there are rarely coupons for Passover-specific foods.

But this time, I had a few $10 off $50 Whole Foods coupons.  So I was able to use one to take $10 off the cost of preparing for Passover.  Yay!  And Publix had some deals on some items, dairy items in particular.  So I was able to save some money and get ready for the holiday.

Here's what I got:

2 Breakstone sour cream @ BOGO $2.89
= $1.45 each

4 Friendship cottage cheese @ $2.49 = $9.96
- 4 $0.55/1 Friendship Dairy Product printable
- 4 $0.55/1 Friendship Dairy Product, exp. 4/6/12 (Publix Yellow Advantage)
= $5.56 for four, or $1.39 each

1 Sorrento mozzarella @ $3.00
- $1/1 Sorrento Block Mozzarella Cheese, exp. 5/31/12 (SS 02/12/12)
= $2.00

4 Temp-Tee cream cheese @ $1.50 = $6.00
(This is the absolute best cream cheese to spread on matzah)

1 5-lb King David matzo @ $6.99

1 Streit matzo farfel @ $4.99

1 Manischewitz wine @ $3.50

1 Silver Spring horseradish @ $1.25

3 Streit matzo meal @ $3.99 = $11.97

2 Streit egg matzo @ $2.89 = $5.78

- $10 off $50 Whole Foods coupon from the 3/28 South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Total product: $46.92
Tax: 21¢

Total spent: $47.13
Total saved compared to Publix full prices: $32.45
