Giveaway: $10 Publix gift card

I really love getting great deals at Publix. I bet you do, too! Check out how I recently bought chicken, milk, eggs, bread, and spices at Publix, and paid only $1.11!

A few months ago, I filled out a rebate form for a $10 Publix gift card after purchasing $35 in Huggies/Goodnites/Kleenex items. I received it in the mail just a few days ago. And now I've decided to give it to one of the Frugal Follies readers!

To enter the giveaway, leave a comment below telling me about your best deal at Publix, or what you plan to purchase with this card.  This entry is mandatory. If you're the winner, I will post your username (but not your email address) and your comment in a future post announcing the winner of the giveaway. If you're posting a comment and don't have a Google account or OpenID, please leave an email address in your comment so that I can reach you if you've won!  This contest is only open to readers 18 or older from the USA.

    My best deal was when I had coupons for free boxes of Cheezits that I received from the company after contacting them. It was a B1G1 free item. I had free Coke coupons from the Coke points promo. Free gum from Dentene with a B1G1 sale. I had 27 items total and spent $2.11. I love Publix's B1G1 sales.

    I went to Publix armed with a plan to get my sons Pull Ups Training Pants cheap. I had Huggies $3 off coupons, and Publix had them on sale for $8.99 a pack, normally $10-$12 or so. Then on top of that I had $5 off store coupons that I accidentally had all in the pile I handed the cashier. I meant to only give her one and do multiple transactions, but I'm new at this and I was flustered at the register. Needless to say, she scanned all three of the $5 off coupons in one transaction. So, I saved $8 on each pack of Pull Ups, paying only $0.99 per pack!

    My best deal at Publix? I'd have to say it's at the Publix Pharmacy. Their basic antibiotics are free - what a great savings! - and their other prescriptions are priced competitively, too.

I would stretch the gift card as far as I could with coupons and BOGO offers to supply our "Straight Street' food drive with the much needed protein items like canned tuna, peanut butter and canned chili.
