Publix: A freezer full of turkey

I went to Publix today. There wasn't a new ad this Thursday, so I ended up buying some of the same deals that I got last week, plus a few others. I also took advantage of a sale on Empire kosher turkey. Since my freezer is much emptier than it was last week, I had room to fit in a 10-lb turkey, which I'll cook in a couple of weeks.

Here's what I got:

1 Empire kosher turkey @ $19.88 ($1.99/lb)

2 Friendship cottage cheese @ $1.50 = $3.00
-$1/2 Friendship coupon from the 4/17 Smartsource insert
= $2 for two, or $1.each

2 Tuttorossa ltomatoes @ BOGO $1.87
- $1/2 blinkie coupon
= 87¢ for two, or 44¢ each

4 Dole pineapple chunks @ BOGO $1.69 = $3.38
- 2 50¢/2 Dole pineapple coupons from the 4/10 Smartsource insert
= $2.38 for four, or 60¢ each

2 Wesson oil @ BOGO $4.29
- 2 40¢ off Wesson coupons
= $3.49 for two, or $1.75 each

2 Pam @ BOGO $3.29
- 3 35¢ off Pam coupons
= $2.59 for two, or $1.30 each

6 Kraft w/ Philly shredded cheese @ 3/$5 = $10
- 3 $1/2 Kraft w/Philly blinkie coupons
= $7 for 6, or $1.17 each

Total spent: $37.21
Total saved: $42.04

Wow! Once again great shopping! I miss Publix. I now live very rural and sales and deals are tough to come by.

I haven't been to Publix at all this week....but I need to go pick up a few deals before the sale expires....

It's nice that Publix has some Kosher meat! I'm now getting some space in my freezer too, I hope I find some more good deals on meat so I can stock up again.
